Hello, My name is Michelle and I am the owner of Genesis Kennels. I have 30 years experience handling & breeding dogs of various breeds working along side my mom growing up. These experiences have helped me in my training knowing how to treat each individual dog as one shoe does not fit all. Genesis Kennels began with my personal dog whom I named the kennel after. She was my first working dog that I have done protection sports, detection and personal protection with. Due to an unfortunate accident after she was a little over a year old, she had to have her leg amputated. This has not stopped her from working and continues to keep on pushing, she is a true Ferrari when it comes to her work and always ready to go. We have started with Altitude K9 Services located in Colorado Springs, CO getting our foundation training in 2020 and were instantly hooked on working dogs and protection sports. While having the passion for bite sports and working dogs, I have developed a desire to produce strong working dogs. Dogs with the drive to work, balance, confident, solid nerves, size, health and power. Genesis Kennels is located on 5 acres in Penrose, CO specializing in obedience, personal protection, sport protection, and detection.
